Who we are

Pulse is a personal wellness companion built to help individuals understand their health through AI-powered assessments, lab interpretation, and daily tracking. Pulse is operated by Trilogy Health & Nutrition Practice.

What data we collect

When you use Pulse, we collect:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up
• Health information you choose to enter — symptoms, goals, energy levels, mood, stress, sleep quality, weight, and dietary preferences
• Lab values you enter or upload — bloodwork values you manually enter or upload as images/PDFs
• Wearable data — if you connect a wearable device, we receive biometric data such as sleep, heart rate, and HRV
• Daily journal entries — your self-reported check-ins and personal notes
• AI-generated plans — the wellness plans generated for you based on your inputs
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details

How we use your data

Your health data is used exclusively to:

• Generate personalised wellness plans and lab interpretations through our AI
• Power the Pulse wellness chatbot so it can give you contextually relevant answers
• Show you your own history, trends, and progress
• Send you reminders you have explicitly requested

We do not use your data to train AI models, sell to third parties, serve advertisements, or share with insurers, employers, or any other entities.

How your data is protected

Pulse is built on enterprise-grade infrastructure:

• All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
• All data is encrypted at rest in our database (Supabase, built on PostgreSQL)
• Row-level security means your data is mathematically isolated — no other user can access your records, and even our database cannot return another user's data in response to your queries
• API keys and secrets are stored in secure environment variables, never in code
• Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — we never see your card number

Lab reports and uploaded files

If you upload a PDF or image of your lab report, that file is sent securely to our AI for interpretation and is not stored on our servers. The extracted interpretation is saved to your account, but the original file is not retained after processing.

Pulse is a wellness tool, not a medical device. The information and plans generated by Pulse are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your health routine, diet, supplements, or medications.

Lab interpretations provided by Pulse reflect functional and optimal wellness ranges and are not a substitute for clinical laboratory interpretation by a licensed healthcare provider.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing trilogyhnp@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Children's privacy

Pulse is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
